Saturday 6/27

 

Fly from Seattle to Hawaii - Detailed flight info here  

- Arrive at SeaTac on Saturday by 12 noon (latest). You’ll need to check in at the Alaska counter, so plan ahead. Alaska #223 Departs at 1:54 p.m. 

- Land at OGG Airport at about 5 pm 

- AMA Hawaii Transportation will get everyone to the hotel. You will find the bus at the rideshare pickup area. The ride should take about 50 minutes.

Arrive at Royal Lahaina Resort  

- Ashley and Rosemary will be on site and meet you in the lobby

- You’ll grab your keys and then will need to leave a card at the front desk within 24 hours, unless you have rented a car, in which case, you will need to pay for parking and give your license plate when you arrive. 

- Bags will be delivered to your room

 

Welcome Dinner at 7 pm 

- Lahaina Noon Dining Room

- Non alcoholic drinks are included with the dinner; you’re free to purchase cocktails or wine. 
 

Sunday 6/28

Pool Day 

- We’ve reserved 2 cabanas for use throughout the day - they’re open to everyone from 6 am to sunset. 

​

Family Free Time

- We've put together a list of area activities and eats if you need some ideas - otherwise, feel free to explore! Just be back in time for dinner if you're listed below!

Surfing Lessons 

- John S, Rosemary, Greg, & Adrienne PB

- Surfing will be booked while we are there - Rosemary will have the details for this group! We're planning for a morning or early afternoon timeframe!

6 pm Grown Ups Dinner 

- For this group only: Rosemary, John S, Fred, Kristal, Amy, Matt, Adrienne PB, Greg, Karl, Rachel, Margaret, Jim

- Maui Brewing Co. Reservation in Rosemary’s name at 6 pm. 

- Walking is about 20 minutes, and drive time is about 5 minutes. Outrigger Garage parking has a two-hour validation at the host stand.

Monday 6/29

​

Snorkel Boat Tour - waiver required

- 8-11 AM with Makai Adventures - Everyone but Kristal is set to join us on this adventure! 

- If you don't have a car, meet in the lobby at 7:00

- If you’ve rented a car, please drive yourselves & any guests you can fit.  Be at the Mala Boat Ramp @ 7:30  (1201 Front Street) 

- Remember to bring your towels, hats & sun protection 

- Light breakfast snacks will be provided 

- Snorkeling is optional - no pressure! 
 

Owen arrives! He should be at the resort at about 12:15 pm

11:30-5:30 Pool Cabana & Family Free Time 

- We have one cabana reserved from 6 am to sunset.

6:30 pm Family Photos 

- Meet on the lawn near the beach

- Plan for 1 group photo plus family photo. Please stay until you are dismissed!

- There is no specific attire for the group, but you’re welcome to coordinate one for your individual family.

- Everyone will be provided a link to download their photos

Done with photos? Feel free to check out the all-ages Happy Hour at the resort! There will be live music from 6-9 pm, with snacks and drinks available for purchase.

5:30 Myths of Maui Luau 

- This is for everyone!

- This is located right next to the resort. We will plan to meet outside the Myths of Maui Luau doors at 5:30 for our 5:45 seat time.

- Luau Menu (They have been made aware of gluten-free, vegetarian, and nut-free needs for our group!) 

 

Thursday 7/2

Everyone has free time for dinner on our last night on the island. If you need ideas, we have some here

 

Macie leaves after dinner - be sure to find her and say bye before you disperse!

Food and Beverage room closes for good at 9:00. Come scavenge for Airplane Snacks!!

Friday 7/3

​

Headed Home:  Pack up your room and leave your bags just inside the door - the hotel staff will pick up bags at 11:00 and bring them down to the bus. 

​

10:30 am Farewell Brunch for everyone at the hotel 

​

We will load on the bus and leave for the airport by 12 pm
